Hi Patek Purists, To my pleasant surprise, shortly after attending the Beijing Maison opening ceremony in late May, the Maison manager Emily told me that 5153 Beijing Edition had arrived and that an allocation had been made to me. I had a choice of select...

This watch is a bit of a formal watch for me. Meaning I'll probably wear it with a nice shirt and possibly cufflinks. I have around a dozen pairs of cufflinks, but many of them are in yellow gold. Ironically, I'm only using the ones in white metals almost...

Congrats and another rare watch in your impressive collection my friend! Love the dial and its Breguet numerals. The 3D effect must be nice esp in the metal (I think it's hard to photograph such details) Very happy for you! May your new 5153 Beijing editi... 

The 3D effect can be seen when the dial is viewed at an angle while the watch is tilted. Unfortunately my photography skills and lack of proper equipment prevented me from capturing this perspective. Time for me to get a proper camera!! Cheers, Gordon

The 4860 and 5153 do match very well and they make a great pair!! I shall refrain from showing your post to the MRS due to budgetary control reasons. A few months ago, the MRS received a PP 7200R which has Brequet numerals, similar to the 5153. From my pe...

Your 5153G looks so classic and timeless . You are so lucky. It's beginning to grow on me ! The Breguet numbers and the clean white dial. Perfect.
