Hard to find the "Chevron" style buckle for the deployant these days. I'm glad you were able to find it as it's no longer being produced (only the circular model with the Calatrava Cross is in production now). Happy Bday to your watch.

Just celebrated the second birthday of mine, but I didn't buy it a nice present like you did for yours! The tang buckle is a bit of a pain, given that this is a fairly heavy watch and that I have thin wrists. I should probably break down and get the deplo...  

I purchased my Gondolo AC before the introduction of the rose gold model. Had I known the rose gold watch would follow, I certainly would have waited - the shape of the watch is perfect for showing off the warm tone of the rose gold! MW

In my opinion, which is based on personal experience, PP deployants unfortunately are one of the worst in industry. A stark contrast to PP's movements being the best. Not only they are uncomfortable, but they are not secure at all. Numerous times my chunk... 

I must agree the chevron buckle does not feel very safe. The "mushroom" shaped pin which goes through the holes in the strap is too short to hold the strap securely, and the "snap" when closing the buckle is not very reassuring. I am being very careful to...
