I agree with AV that 5055 looks more modern and interesting than 5054, but what I've learnt over the years is that personal taste is quite subjective. Main thing is to buy what you truly enjoy, but 5055 is certainly better "value" because this is again a highly subjective perception.
Enjoy and do remember to post pictures of whichever watch you eventually choose. But you can't go too wrong with either.
