I am a bit confused...
According to the Certificate of Origin, my Golden Ellipse 3738-100 has a Calibre 240W. I know Cal. 240 but does anybody know what the "W" stands for? I asked the question last week in Patek Salon Geneva but their watchmakers did not have an answer...

This sounds like a sound theory. However, the movement in question is from 1992 and the original design 15 years later was just cal. 240 and nearly 20 years later again just cal. 240. So why in the middle of the current life span cal. 240W? I am mostly in...
