... that is key for the Nautilus design to shine and for the watch to look interesting in my eyes. Not against white dial watches in general but my 5711 has got to be blue which it is.
The dial is way more dynamic (although this may not be perceived in pictures). Loads of ivory and silver hues. The date on the same color as the dial isn’t bad either! With all due respect, most people who allegedly don’t like the white either can’t cope ...
Specifically with the updated 26-330 S C movement. I’m being patient and waiting until hopefully the current fever subsides somewhat and I can find one at a more palatable price.🤞
For me, the white dial is just more interesting. It brings more to the watch I think. There is also the little sin of contrasting date wheel colour, it is always a no no for me (unless it’s a datograph).
If I choose a blue dial watch on bracelet I tend to go with my AP 15202ST which I also prefer more than the 5711/1A in blue or white 🤷♂️. As the french like to say, "chacun a son goût" 😉

is also significantly rarer (probably by a factor of 2.0-2.5). The dark 5711 has been produced since 2006... And still counting... The white 5711 from 2012 to 2019.
