Bi-annual Calendars

My two annual calendars. The ALS Saxonia Annual Calendar and the Patek Philippe 5146G.

I chose the ALS over a 5035 a few years ago. I had to opportunity to obtain a 5146G after, which I did (it is a Patek).

Both are beautiful watches, but which do you prefer? (May depend on which forum I post this).

The legibility on the ALS is superb and dial is very balanced. Personally I feel it’s one of the best executed annual calendars out there. Although the Patek is less balanced and perhaps more top heavy on the dial, it’s design is rather eye catching and m...

I have the fortuitous opportunity to wear both. They look similar at the outset, but for me, the ALS is easier to read and modern, the Patek is even more classic in it's design. I am wearing both now but have noticed the Patek a more natural fit in terms ...

Thanks everyone for your comments. I plan on keeping both for now. Time will tell me which I favor in the event I have to make this choice.

I get a lot of compliments when I wear the 5146g. However, this ALS AC puts up a good fight in this category. I think it's 50/50 depending on which brand speaks to you more.
