Best way to wear an Ellipse? On a lava lamp :-)!
Hello there Baron!
It is a quirky, quirky little master piece of design from Patek, this current Ellipse.
As Kari mentioned: it is the slimmest Patek offering and an instantaneously recognisable Patek.
Can be dressed up and down easily and has got always a big wow factor to me with its blue gold dial and yellow gold case.
The indices are floating on a sea of blue sunburst that is changing its intensity depending on the light condition.
I am still very, very happy that I went for it some seven years ago.
A lovely, trademark Patek with an own character and aura.

Have never bought one. I have seen a few. The older ones from the 70's are quite small and the current ones are a bit expensive for a folly piece They did make an auto model I think which might suit my purposes I am just not sure if I can wear one without...

Totally agree that the white gold one is truly special ...somehow a modern interpretation of a classic and the dial color very unique. A big plus is also the fact that is an automatic watch... I had to get the cufflinks too ...

I assume that you already have bigger pieces in your collection..the proportion of the white gold and the others is just perfect (unless you really have a large wrist but it could still work). The platinum one that is much larger didn't look as good to me...
