Audemars Piguet VZSS and images

Hi Suitbert. Really appreciate your respond. Seems to me nobody else is get more information about these movements, then you. Now seems to me I be able to upload two images of my AP movement. As you can see a cap jewel on the back side of the movement for escapment. Because of that the wheel has a bottom column (not sure if I spell correct) pivot and upper side has straight pivot. That would not be a problem, but wheels from different calibers are shorter and some completely different in shape and wheel diameter. They are available at Wm. McCaw Company. Also I verified that information with other my suppliers.
Although, a ratchet and a crown wheels from Valjoux Cal.23 fit just fine. Also, on a back side of the mvt, if you take a look and compare with BestFit book images of Valjoux line 13, you can see the all setting is on the other side and, probably set bridge, set lever and clutch lever are not interchangeable. But, for now, my issue, still, is with an escape wheel. Thanks again for your time.
Regards, Yuri

While doing a little research, I have come the curiosity about the ebauche used in certain Patek Philippe watches, specifically the chronograph/calendar complications of around 1937-1956 (and perhaps some even much later). The ebauche in question seems to...

Hi Steve, it's a bit complicated, but quite simple at the same time Please take all below with a grain of salt - it's what I believe is correct, but I don't consider this authoritatively. All movements you mention share the same roots and in this case "ro...

it would be helpfull to see some pictures, or at least a better description of the problem. Which part of the escape wheel doesn't fit (pivots, escape wheel diameter, pinion...). I'm not sure later Valjoux (cal. 23 onwards) do fit older Valjoux VZ specs -...
