There are not many around for sale so perfectly reasonable. Where it actually transacts can be anywhere but likely between 10k and 20k is my guess
We don't speak much about money on this forum, i guess that's the reason behind this comment.

There are 2 buyers for this. The first buyer is a collector, with a 3700, but not the cork box it came with originally. The second buyer, is someone looking to sell a 3700 and thinks the cork box will add 20K+ to the sale price.
I would find paying £2K for that box hard to swallow let alone £20K
But as they say , courses for horses 😉
