An interesting question
I don't have one but I came close to getting a 5711/1A back in 2011 for 15k euros. I had been attracted to the slim case design, blue dial and water resistance. In the end I didn't do it because I could not answer one fundamental question, namely would I still buy if it didn't say PP on the dial? I was unable to separate the watch from the brand and ultimately moved on.

A lot of Patek Philippe designs are not that great. The Patek Philippe 6007 for instance. Nice watch. But, if it didn't say Patek Philippe on it, would people really give it a lot of thought? Would it sell in the quantities it currently enjoys? Doubtful. ...
