Patek Philippe

Patek 130 was, I believe, the first serially produced chronograph wristwatch. Here it is with its big much younger 5370 brother. Sub-dials are very similar as is outer railroad and tachometer scale. Fun how 130 goes to 51 and 5370 goes to 50. ...  

I might be stepping on some PP lovers toes, but the vintage one just reminds me of the JLC blue sector dial they brought 2 years ago and produced it for only 1 or 2 years.

But next to the 5370P, I have to say it feels alittle eclipsed.

Do you think 5370 is eclipsed by the double split? I have both— Patek is more elegant, Lange more intense.

However over time I found the 5370P to be a finer timepiece. It is just more confident and on point. The rattrapante is very self assured, buttery smooth and accurate. The case, dial and overall aesthetic is crafted in a manner that I have only seen in a ... 

But the 5370P has more charm.

Like I mentioned earlier, the 5370P I would say is more refined and superior in quality. I can’t stress enough how much more superior the feel of the rattrapante is. Whilst the ALS feels springy and unsure of itself, the Patek is far more accurate and doe... 

Unfortunately I don't have the chance having to choose between one or the other every morning, but if I would have to it would take me a huge time to decide every day ! Enjoy them a lot and wear them in the very best of your health you Lucky Guy

The vintage one in particular is just perfect in proportions.

I have seen amazing pieces paired before but this is crazy! WOW !!! That is all I can say! Do you own both of these gems???? To own either is amazing.......... What other pieces do you have in your collection? (not that you need anything more) I love it!!... 

Plus another patek perfection, the 3448 ...  

I have 60’s calatravas 3483 and 3466 and modern 5565a ...  

Would like a 1518 in steel, but that would break the bank, I fear.

... 5370 looks very beautiful and balanced on this image the size of the 130 works much better for your wrist. Excellent watch and an important milestone in Patek‘s history, the 130.
