Don't buy the brand or settle for second best or you will always be dreaming of what you could have had! Patek Gondolos have not held their values well and hence make excellent used buys.

In full agreement with your points, Sham, including that the Gondolo line is (still) very much underrated...so given that the secondary market is the only viable option for it (at least for men), today is a great day to go for virtually any of them! ;-)

I love the Gondolos, I own a 5109J which I love ! And yes you should definitely try them on before choosing, the feeling is just never the same on pictures and in the flesh ! ...

Your watch is very similar to the one I am thinking about. I called the dealer today to discuss some details. Unfortunately, given my business travel schedule, I am going to be challenged to fly there and try it on — at least not until later in the month.
