doesn't this boil down to aesthetics at this level? no words will convey the spirit that is obvious to the eye, and this is the final arbiter. overall, i find lange more visually interesting, less staid, but at some level: so what. i think both are phenomenal in terms of technical accomplishment and quality. but look at the zeitwerk: with what can that be compared in the patek line up? i don't even know how to compare when the visuals are taken into account.
this is no help to you, but then i would not have any advice in choosing an apple over an orange.
