Adding a 5124g?
Hello everyone. I have enjoyed reading this forum for the past several months and this is my first posting.
I'm interested in getting opinions on acquiring a 5124g-011. I've been offered the watch at what I believe to be a good price from my AD.
My current Pateks include a 5119g, 5065, 5196p, 5110r, 5235, 5170g (black dial), 3940j, 5140g, 5712 and 5960-1/a. I also have a journe chronometre bleu.
Does it make sense to add another time only to the collection?
I appreciate any suggestions
Thanks
Nick

a version of Travel Time complication would fit nicely. Aquanaut 5164 would be great because it works well in the pool as well as on the plane, 5134 is always elegant and the Pilot is bold. But to the question; 5124G, why not. Out of the rectangular watch...

I appreciate you welcoming me to the forum and your suggestions. I really enjoy reading everyone\'s posts and according to my wife I\'m probably on the forum too much. Just spoke to my AD and he says he is working on a couple of options for me. I think th...
Problem solved.

My AD came through and got me an 5100g. I agree with Kari that blue may be getting too popular but this is definitely my favorite amongst the 5100s. While I still think the 5124 is a great watch I think this one better fits what I am looking for right now...
Splendid!

This is a nice surprise and a move we don't see everyday. I think the blue dial fits very well to that watch and will bring originality and modernity to a classical shape. I really don't think that blue is a fashion color, at all. Like Nicolas reminds it ...
Stunning!

One of a kind and a true esthete choice. Thanks for the shot of the movement as well, a field in which Patek shows its mastery and know-how, especially considering a square caliber. Congratulations for you purchase, you definitely made a great move. Do no...
