A very indepth report, thank U for sharing .....
this is a useful report with tons of great informative information. I hope to one day see this piece in person, most probably inside Geneva boutique. I am thinking, would patek 5207 be more fun, if it was made with jump hour function ( just thinking out loud ) ?? The reason i raise such question, because with the minute hand overlapping the 12 O'clock window whiles the instantaneous window is rotating itself, a jump hour indicator would not block the view. We remember patek 5050 with its digial window, also patek 844 pocket watch. Such dials were made clean and simple for viewing. As the leap year and 24 hour window is already in digial form, how about skipping the hour hand, so the overall appearance would be more clean ??

myself fortunate that I do not have a thing for the ultra complicated watch. What I find most attractive about this watch is the fact that it is so understated despite its complexity. A true Patek Philippe trait.
