Patek Philippe

To own any Patek is a superb accomplishment. But for me the icing on the cake is to own a Patek with what I consider to be the most mesmerising of all the dial variations, the utterly gorgeous black Breguet dial (applied arabic markers). The most stunning...  

I just love coaxial registers on black dials with the Breguet applied numerals. The dial IMO is just so balanced. Best Joe

What great review of some unknowns I have seen the 1578 but unfortunetaly the dial had been "tainted" I recently tried on the 5170 and I think PP has another stunner on its hands But my pockets are empty and for the moment I will have to live my PP life v... 

Who can not be a fan of breguet black dials.... The 5396G is sublime... The 5026G had it been 35mm it would be priced 3x+ I suppose but oh so beautiful... The recent 5170G is fantastic but in my dream world would have been 1-2mm smaller with a concave bez... 

I still hope that one day Patek would again find a reason good enough to make a Calatrava in steel. The case construction of 5565 plus a dial with Breguet numbers would be a dream. Thank you for a great post! Best, Kari

ideally with a new manual movement would make so much sense that it would be impossible to fathom…. what a masterpiece it would be. that along with a salmon dial rose gold or platinum rendition would be quite nice as well… dreams to dream

I actually fell in love with this ref 96 in steel few years back... Unfortunately when I received the actual Watch, the condition was far from being as per the picture (dial was even damaged). Thank God the US merchant did not argue at all andd gave me a ...
