when my savings account is so low there's no way it can satisfy my lust for a new moonphase chronograph. I'll just have to recycle my inventory, or plain go cold turkey. Ugh-h-h-h.

I was thirteen ... my mother's budhist and after his death she wanted to give all his possesions to the monks at the temple..( didn't understand at the time). I stole my father's Seiko from the pile the to be given away .... I remeber how heavy it was and... 

after I realized just how valuable "TIME" really is. Once that moment in "time" has passed it can never be replaced. I try to make each moment in "TIME" as precious as possible. You see I justed proved it -- am a "certified nut" whom happens to love watch... 

to warehouse all the watches and its accompanying boxes and need a excel spreadsheet to keep track.

Actually, it probably hit me after I bought my 3rd Patek and kept moving up the limit - I realized I could be driving a turbo porsche for what I had invested in my collection. But then the car would just depreciate over time, and so I keep on buying. Love... 

it did for me to pick out what clothing to wear and after winding and setting all of them only to find that I was late for work again. And, if I was going out of town for a few days.....nothing short of agony. But now, I consider myself to be in recovery,... 

I'l bet my dressing time has doubled since I got the watch bug. When I started matching the watch, cufflinks, belt buckle and pen......I even bought a rose gold wedding band to rotate with my platinum - I had to admit I had fallen off the deep end! Now, m... 

My wife and I were walking in the city and saw a nice Aston Martin. I commented that this might be a nice acquisition but then she pointed out that between the maintenance, storage costs, and general overhead, it would be preferable if I just spent the fu...

hmmm probably around 15. i saved all my baby-sitting money (babysat the two boys down the block) to purchase a Tag Heuer 2000. Rarely went out to parties with my friends, just saved the money in a blue Fossil (watch again!!) tin. From there, I just went u... 

When I began noticing ads for watches in magazines and wanting them. When I noticed school friends wearing nice watches. When I realized that I was going to work my a$$ off to earn the money to buy the nicest watch within reason that I could afford. When ... 

I knew I meant Emmental and not Gruyere - so much for brain function!
