5146 changes
One thing that has changed over the years is the moon phase indicator. Early watches had a very reflective moon disc, which made it hard to see when viewing from certain angles. On newer watches the moon disc is less reflective and has some grainy texture. I'll see if I can find some pictures tomorrow.
The 5146j-010 used to have all writing in white but it appears that the font on the new watches is more golden - this is a very recent change.
I saw a new production 5146g-010 the other day and I got the impression the dial was not as dark as it used to be. I could be wrong here, it could have been just the light that made it appear different.
Pure speculation: it would not surprise me if Patek has changed from the strong C3 lime to the weaker C1 lume as they have done on other watches. Again, this is pure speculation.
On the movement the only changes I’m aware of is that old watches has the Geneva Seal while new ones have the PP seal. Old watches would be 315 movement based while new ones 324 movement based. I would think new watches has the silinvar balance spring while old watches has steel balance spring.
