4910...a worthy Patek?
My daughter is turning 16 soon. I had always thought of a Gerald Genta Fantasy (the 36mm Mickey) as a great present for her. But she is starting to go out to parties and dressing well, etc, etc, so then I thought a 4910/10 (the stainless steel, black dial) would actually do a better job for her near future. The Genta would not look as well on a dressy party.
The thing is the movement of the Genta compared with a quartz...even if a Patek... I don't know what to do.
Any opinions? I obviously post this on the Patek forum because I know what the answers would be like on the GG forum

Hi, I don't know your daughter, so I have no idea if she is interested in watches and watch mechanics? If she has no interest in mechanical watches, maybe a quartz watch could be easier for her. The 4910 is a nice classic now, but you may want to look at ...

Thank you Dje! I did not know that PP had issued already the SSteel version of the Nautilus for women. I thought only the gold versions where available. I will think about it... She's about to turn 16, so not much interest yet on mechanicals or quartzs or...
