they hype is here because of social media and Instagram in particular.
Mostly used by younger customers but believe me they will get older and their taste will evolve
Nothing wrong with steel sportswatches but they will learn there is more.
I only don’t think smaller watches like 36-37 will be the most sought after. If you were used to sports watches you’ll probably prefer 40 and 42.
Nothing wrong with 36 but the majority will IMO prefer a bit bigger. This is btw the only reason why the 3970 is a bargain and the 5970 will cost you and arm and a leg.
IF the 3970 was also a 40mm watch I would have bought one without hesitation.... but it it were 40mm I bet it would be a lot more expensive
