While any competent watchmaker could take apart, clean and adjust the watch, given that it's 65 years old there's a good chance that it would require new jewels and possibly new pivots on the wheels.
Watchmakers prepared to do this are fairly thin on the ground where I live so I'm looking for recommendations to trusted people capable of doing top quality work.
