You can find 5164a at or below retail if you look around. They are uncommon but certainly not rare watches :)

I personally do like the 5167R. I find it classy with a twist, definitely the 5167R over 5167A for me. And I personally prefer the 5167 watches co-branded with tiff&co. That one additional line on the bottom does the magic and make the dial side less plain imo and it also retains value really well. I also pick the 5167R because it is cheaper in value compared to 5164R, when (and in case you need the cash) you want to sell it, you will likely find it easier to move than a 5164R.

Hi guys, I'm new to this forum and wondering if the experts here can give me some assistants on 2 watches. I have purchased 5164R and I really really love it but I also noticed that 5167R was also in stock. My mind goes with 5164R, I like it because I do ...

Both are great looking watches that are versatile

My suggestion, go for 5164A. Great size, great gmt function. you can "bang it around" and it should cost around the same as 5167R!

Thank you

Hi Marsy, I don't know when 5164A will become available and that is why I have decided to go with R . If you only have the R to choice from which one will you pick out of these 2? I got 2 kids under 3 so I'm thinking if I don't buy it now, there is a very...

I don't have any options, just 5167r or 5164R ATM

I wish I had the crystal ball for you. Unfortunately, forecasting future value is a fool's errand in my book...

Go for 5167r ...a beauty! I prefer 5711 to 5712...

Evantseng I think you have your heart set for the 5164 R

5164 R is a beautiful watch like you say you travel, and you like the heavier watch. Buy what you like and not to please anyone else. Regards Seconds.

Thank you so much, its what I wanted. Don't live in a perfect world, have 2 kids under 3 and when you became a parents, that 20K does a lot of things. I most likely tough out and work hard and stay with the 5164R. Thank you so much for input

Evantseng you are most welcome.

You are doing it hard with a lot of responsibility , but when you buy what makes you happy the hardship is worth it . 5164 R is the one on your wrist in the first picture... not second picture. I know this is in your heart. Best regards Seconds.

They are both awesome, but if the price is not an issue, travel time all day for me

GreT dilemma to have. Personally, I would just keep the 5164r and save up the money for something else.

 By: CaptainCrunch : October 29th, 2017-02:48
To replace it with a 5167r is not advisable unless you don’t lose much money on the exchange, which I highly doubt. Keep the 5164 r and enjoy the extra complication for travel use

I'm a big fan of Travel Time.

I think that the only "investment grade" Aquanaut is 5650G but it's sold out a long time ago. Anyhow, I really enjoy the travel time complication because I travel a lot and whenever I go to warm countries, I'm going to the pool. Each Aquanaut is great for...

5164 all day everyday!

Better if you can get an SS model. It's a versatile watch for me. Thierry Stern wore the watch few years back after it was launched. Hoping for the best on your decision.

left pushers on 5164

 By: Peter : March 11th, 2018-12:07
i was told by an AD that they had issues with the left pushers on the 5164, which - at least in the case of one customer - got pushed unintentionally often. the customer than put away the watch and does not wear it anymore because he got so annoyed by tha...

I’ve had the same issue on my 5650g. I also have a 5524 which has the same movement but the pushers on the 5524 have a locking mechanism which is excellent. IQBAL

Similar dilemma here and I went for the 5164 😁

But in steel. I love the look of RG, but I prefer to wear white metals, so in my case I had to decide between the 5167A and 5164A. The price difference made me go for the 5167 first. I enjoyed the watch for a while, it's beautiful, but I couldn't stop thi...
