5164R for 5905R
I was offered a new 5905R for my 3 year old 5164R. Both watches are great, I like them both. I am debating with myself, so any opinions are welcomed. Cheers!
Very different watches
Both have different uses. I have a 5905G and love the watch. I like it better than a 5167 but a 5164r is worth more than the 5905.

I‘d take the 5905r over the 5164r, but the 5164r is currently worth more. Not an easy decision.

Not an easy choice, but I would pass
It depends on your personal feelings though, how you love/use your 5164 and what else you have in your collection. Having myself a 5960P and a 5164A, I can perfectly feel the pain of having to make a decision. Good luck!
Given the relative value and if you also like the 5905, you could ask for...
a trade along with cash for the difference. Naturally if you have the means, then buy a 5905 to enjoy both.
