5738p is very picky when it comes to pairing clothes. I am still trying to figure out what outfit fits it the best.

Actually I am quite surprised Patek still has this series in production. AD said it is always very difficult to sell Ellipse.
Correct, but to be honest the GE has always been a more niche and therefore more accessible line, which is fine...and the price in "complication territory" only refers to the P version (the R runs at $35k).

I own the 5738P too. For me that’s a “lifer” , there’s not many watches I’ve seen in the flesh that create the impact that one did upon first look.

What a combination
The photo of the two watches makes each look even better. I passed on a 5738P and regret it — if I had one I would wear it with a pair of jeans and T shirt along with a big smile!
