at least for recent production. I carefully checked my friend's 5167/1A and wife's 5087/1A. And I was disappointed about the craftsmanship of the bracelet. If you spend $1200 to get the rubber strap and clasp, chances are you probably will never go back to the bracelet. Apparently, Patek doesn't put the same kind of efforts on the bracelet as the famous Nautilus'. My personal suggestion is to get the 5167A. And if you do want a steel Patek on bracelet, there are several Nautilus out there, which carries unparalleled overall finishing among all sports watches. Cheers, Damon

Yes, you can change from bracelet to rubber strap and vice versa. The rubber strap is reasonably priced by Patek standards but the folding clasp is not. But if you have both bracelet and rubber, you will have like two different watches. Best, Kari

If you have a 5167/1a (steel bracelet), you can buy a rubber band with buckle for interchange. However, if you buy a 5167a (rubberband), you CANNOT buy a steel bracelet in general. Cheers
