I understand the question and I have the same sentiments however you need to understand the following - Patek owners are the most aloof people on earth. It comes from being Horologically superior and from knowing how superior they are compared to other people who resident on this lovely planet.
To answer your question the Patek 5107 and 5127 are the most beautiful watches on earth! However members of this forum are multi-million/billionares! they are CEOs of top 50 companies, they are people in responsible positions (federal court judges, Senators) - therefore they may not be available for your amateur round of questions.
Once you own a few Patek pieces - preferably your 2nd piece being a complication at least - you will understand this elitism.
Bytheway - a 5107 (the previous model to the 5127) is superior. The 5107 features the more desirable 315 movement and the bezel is alot nicer IMHO. The 5107 in White Gold was voted the most beautiful watch on the planet by Nick Faulkes (UK Fashion Guru).
If you need constant reassurance from a forum.... if you need constant praise..... I suggest you join one of the very many Rolex forums.

That is what I wish to read :) Simplicity is usually the best. :) Currently experiencing what can go wrong with onboard computers in my car. I would take simple over complicated most times.........Unless of course it was a 5207P :)
