Patek Philippe

One thing is very noticeable to me

Did you see the difference between the watch in Quan's post--held in hand, as opposed to the other photos, by itself.  In Quan's it is vastly warmer looking, shimmering  and even more appealing to the eye.  That's the great visual benefit to a piece like this being photographed properly.

I, myself, love this piece, and while everyone is certainly entitled to his opinion, whether about significant factors or what some might consider minutiae, I think most fair minded Patek admirers would agree it is a beautiful expression of classic Patek charm and grace.

Mine arrives tomorrow at or before 10:30 a.m.  smile)  I'm pretty excited about this one.  It's like stepping back in time.

And by the way, apropos of someone's lament here that it will "never have any collector value"---just think about how many Pateks you can name, as can I, that were easily available for a time, then discontinued, as they all are,  that have risen handsomely in value.  But who really cares if you love it and it enhances your enjoyment of  watch owning.
