While Patek Philippe is a great brand, it's not the only great brand! Moser is quite special!

Yup, I always felt the comparison against Patek when I had Moser. It was a great experience though, and although the piece is not with me currently I miss it greatly. I was (and probably could say still am) a big fan of Mr. Andreas Strehler back in the da...

I wish I had any money (or interest in watches!) to celebrate my college graduation (2001) or PhD (2004) with a Patek….thankfully, I made up for it a little before turning 30, and my Patek #1 celebrated the end of my first year in tenure track, in May 200... 

I'm actually turning 30 in few years as well (COVID, military duty, etc made my college life much longer than 4 years), and hope to get myself something else when I get my first job... But always fund is the problem! Your story is very inspiring, and I ho... 

The black dial was very intriguing as well but since I don't have much collection / it was my first patek, I went for the more classic design of RG / white dial!

I was 18 , young and in very very casual clothing and the staff till the end did not take me seriously until the Amex came out .. chinos and denim shirt was considered way to casual back then .. I bought the white gold Patek 5015g I can relate to your fee...

It is very true, I've rarely seen someone my age with a taste in horology (apple watch everywhere)... I only have like one actual friend who is a watchgeek. Thanks to that friend's huge collection, I was able to try on some valuable models like 1815 chron...
