More of an addiction rather than an affair....
....or a disease. I backed into watch collecting somehow....but going face first into PP. So went to my jeweler to try this one on - LOVED IT. Just a beautiful piece. I was concerned it would be a bit large for my wrist - glad to say it is not. The deal is pretty much done - X edited as per forum rules as we don't allow discussing about a watch for sale,especially by oneself X Regardless - I will own this watch soon. Will post a pic of it on my wrist soon (and maybe include my car in it as well to stay in the "spirit" of the OP's picture

Quite right in your observation: the 5396 in WG is a stunner! The 5205G is o.k., without being "unfair" to the owners of a 5205, but it does not really convince as a dress watch, where the 5396 can do both. Still, with either of them a watch fanatic will ...
Hard not to love the 5396
Funny - my first post - and I'm leaving work early today to go look at the 5396. I am considering the 5205 was well but the 5396 looks so awsome in pics that I'm very anxious to see it in person.

If you mean anxious in the sense of being affraid to like it that much that you will get it and have to overcome the shock of the price of it: you have my sympathy ! It is always shocking, at least from my experience, to spend this sort of money for a wac...

I did buy the 5396
and love it. Fits my wrist perfectly. I'm new to the forum but have learned a lot in a short time - awesome dialog. And please forgive the faux pas on price issue - it will not happen again. Promised a pic with the car - coming soon.
