Just got a text from my AD, the 6007A has arrived! I expected a “normal” wait. Will pick it up Monday.

Not sure what “normal wait” means but I have waited months, maybe close to a year, for some other Patek watches. Thanks for correcting the typo...

'Deserving' can be quite a subjective term in this context, I know Patek in the UK where my AD is located are very fair when it comes to allocating the special pieces to its clientele and for example would not allocate a 5131 enamel world timer to the sam... 

which country your AD is based at? Mine is in the UK and I await the good or bad news.

Most disappointing as it is the first time an application of mine has been rejected. It is ok, I have been blessed with other allocations.

I think I was very lucky to get an allocation. I know there are a lot of disappointed collectors/enthusiasts who didn't get an allocation.

To flip but as we all tend not to do so...its just another watch on a watchwinder....they have to share the love a bit!!!

Patek UK have been terribly nice to me for a long time now so I am grateful.

Due to the 5520 allocation for october

The 5520P is a superb watch with a terribly useful complication. No one really needs a minute repeater but an alarm is always useful

Sell a 6007 o4 5520 so they obviously not complaining

But I badly hope that's not the reason your AD didn't get selected for any 6007, rather simply because it couldn't provide other "competitive" names....If the allocation of your 5520 was a criterion used by Rhone to reject other customers, then a few of t... 

I think they are terrified of the 400 deaths we have had!!! That makes travel difficult now

How about if you (or the watch, or both) wear a mask so you can pick it up immediately?? Let's hope that, despite all politicians and their followers, this beauty can soon be on your wrist!

When I spoke to them in March they said they didn't want the same client to get all the watches and wanted to share the allocations fairly.

I think I will act very disappointed and advise that I think a 5167, 5164 and Sub will make me feel better

You can also ask for a 5168, a Daytona and a blue Sky Dweller.

Do you know how many coming to the UK this year? I have a friend who is struggling to get an allocation. He has some special pieces such as 5970R, 5970P, 5070P, 5070P-013 etc.
