It is always a great moment when you're able to make a dream come true. Huge congratulations, my friend. Champagne is on YOU! Best, Nicolas. PS: First impressions, compared to the 5070?

two are very different , as you know and wrote successfully in a previous thread -and you were right- ,both being so far apart from each , but each other so beautiful, except movment of course , the only 5070 to be compared and makes sense , in my opinion...

Congrats on a great addition

If you have the will and the time, it would be great to get your impressions on the wrist and of of the timepiece and new movement generally. Congratulations on an early acquisition of what will no doubt be a classic. All the best.

Very Nice provents

Flyback Function?

 By: fnutz09 : April 25th, 2011-05:57
I know Patek added the instantaneous minute counter to this new model, however does it also have the flyback function like a Lange Datograph?

Does the new 5270 have a flyback function?

Sorry, if I have offeneded you in any way

 By: fnutz09 : April 25th, 2011-09:44

No problem don't worry!

 By: Dje : April 25th, 2011-09:54
Hi, I understand your question. A flyback function can be indeed useful (in some conditions) but is still somewhat secondary to many other technical aspects. The 5960 and 5980 are flyback chronographs. This function is generally linked to sportier watches...

Excellent....Thanks [nt]

 By: pp5205 : May 1st, 2011-03:09
Hi there, I was told from that my AD I could get one in few weeks. I was wondering if its worth the price. Or should I wait for the G, R or P to come out? And is it very hard to find. Thanks, Bob
