Frankly I had the same initial impression on the 5231, but I wouldn't expect *total* production to differ significantly, in the end. I recall having a similar conversation with people at Patek about the 5131P vs gold iterations, and I was again reassured
Perhaps, a grand total of 200 to 250 for the 5231J might be a good guess (but it's just a guess for now ;-) Cheers.

They used to get one 5131 every 3-4 years.

at this early stage of ownership of the 5231J how you compare and like it relative to the 5131R. Very different cases, fonts, etc. but both with superb maps. Best, Patekova
The 5575G is for me an incredible watch. One of my preferred WT. The moon add something special, poetical. Something that reminds me of the illustration in the book "Le petit prince" by Saint Exupéry.
Unfortunately this watch is now out of my range of price for watches... It’s a wonderful gift for your daughter ! Cool. For sure she will enjoy it. Best Ø
