2014 has been a great year so far- I recently got married, I turned 32 and it's also the World Cup! In celebration of all these wonderful events, I decided to get my first Patek. While at first I must admit I was interested in the JLC MUT Moon 39, I'm glad I chose the 5396 as it was love at first sight.

Congrats to you as well! Yes that conversation took place with my fiancee at the time but let's say a surprise gift from my father allowed me to make the purchase. My advice to you is enjoy the moment and the watch will come eventually. Good luck to you
