All of the earliest Toric watches introduced in1998-1999 used out-sourced movements modified and finished by Parmigiani. These included the Toric Memory Time (Lemania movement), Automatique, Classic, Chronograph (El Primero movement), and Tourbillon (G-P movement). The brand's first in-house movement was the manually wound 8-day "hebdomadaire" introduced in its Ionica watch.
In about 2000 Parmigiani acquired Vaucher and transitioned to in-house movement manufacturing across its range of watches. Vaucher also sells movements to brands such as Richard Mille.
