I wore the Toric Hemispheres Retrograde to the coffee shop this morning. Given our extreme cold temperatures I thought there was a chance the place would be slow and I could do a little photo session while sipping espresso. It turns out I was the only customer.
I think both aftermarket straps work well. I have a slight preference for the darker leather. For anyone interested, the straps are from VelleAlexander in Minneapolis (I have no financial or other interest in VelleAlexander).
Here is the backside of the Toric with its quirky off-centered automatic movement.
I'm happy to have this little gem of a watch in the collection. It's not worn frequently but when it's on the wrist it doesn't disappoint.

No, just 2 timezones. The smaller 24 hour subdials are for AM / PM identification.

If I were to see the 2 straps loose on a table, I prefer the color of the lighter one.
But mounted to this watch, seeing them both - I think the darker one looks better. Nice to have choices!

The Hemispheres watch mostly shows up in the Tonda line with an expanded date aperture, The retrograde date is in the Toric line. Thanks again. M4
