Trying to read the market..
Amongst those paneristi in the know, i guess having a PR indicator matters. These are just the tip of the whole iceberg of those who wear pams.
The trouble is (and a sad thing too), for most guys out there who are merely into the brand because it looks "macho" or something along those lines, it won't bother them too much. Espcially if the price is right and seems like good value when compared to the 111 benchmark.

Panerai will see our comments and next year the 5000 calibre will have a PR on dial and other on the back, IMHO. A low demand for this model will help Panerai to implement this new serie. Just wait and see. Cheers, patrickh

I seriously doubt the p5000 steel model will be in low demand. For an 8 day power reserve watch, the list price is a mere , whilst the 111 with 40-48hr PR on an ETA-based calibre is already SGD7k+. There will be a long queue for this to buy the p5000 stee...
