Advice on the Chronographe Rattrapante needed
Hi everyone,
I am considering acquiring the Chronographe Rattrapante in Titanium on the pre-owned market and Have a few questions regarding the watch that I’d like to post here:
1. Would anyone know the prevailing market price range for this particular model?
2. Am also curious about the fitment as I have slightly small wrists (6.75 inches)
3. Given that the water resistance is 30 meters, would it be safe to shower (not swim) with the watch on?
Any other inputs and experiences from those who own the same watch would be highly appreciated. Thanks!

reg. pt 2. I hope someone here can post a wrist shot with their wrist measurement, please?
reg. point 3. I suppose showering is ok as long as the crown gaskets are fresh and new. However, I NEVER let any of my watches near water, except my Rolex. Its just not worth the risk. Its a MAJOR and very expensive repair. I saw a watter damaged Patek Nautilus 5980. The repair cost was very close to the original price of the watch.

I have the platinum version but have tried the titanium version and would say it’s very comfortable. The essential absence of lugs makes it more wearable on smaller wrists than the 44mm size would suggest. My wrist is slightly smaller than yours but I am comfortable wearing it. Of course this is subjective and depends on your preference on how a watch should look on your wrist but I definitely feel it wears smaller than other 44mm watches and the titanium makes it very light.
I would agree with Christian that to me it’s not worth the risk and potential cost of wearing it in the shower.

I had this one in platinum and moved it because it was "too big" on my 7 1/4 inch wrist --
This may be more of a personal perspective because it fit me, but I was looking for more of a fitment like the RLX Daytona and it felt too large when making that comparison.
Since I am here, I will weigh in on your other questions: I, for one, will not wear my watches in any wet environment (including a shower), unless they have a resistance rating of 100m (10atm) or better. Supposedly, 3atm is okay for showering, but I don't feel comfortable with that, especially with a piece that costs north of $50k.
As far as pricing, I don't know about this particular piece, but I have an opinion about FPJ in today's market. I believe these pieces are still undervalued and a fair comparison can be made to any artist who is renowned in his lifetime, such as Picasso. After he passed away, the work he did became extraordinarily valuable. While you may no longer be able to flip an FPJ for a quick profit in a year or two, if you hold it for the long term, it is still a value play as I see it. Also, there is an argument that relative to the dress pieces by Francois, the sport pieces are still somewhat undervalued because he entered the market making dress pieces and veteran FPJ collectors have resisted the ones like you are asking about here.

I've got 6.5 inch wrists
I don't own one, but have spent some time with this piece many times. When it's not sized to my wrist, it seems "big" for a 6.5in wrist, but when I tried one on that was sized to mine, it actually worked. For me the CTS2 with the same diameter size works better since it is thinner, but overall this watch sized to my wrist still works great.
