A previously unloved version of the Resonance, but honestly my favorite rendition because of how rebellious it is. True to FPJ DNA with asymmetry. I love digital dials and this digital/analog combo is so unique. There will definitely be fewer RT parking meters produced vs. RQs, and rose-grey is one of my favorite Journe configurations.

My problem was always the legibility. I can’t read the damn thing. If that isn’t an issue for you, then I think it’s a super cool piece. The Parking meter dial is beautifully executed and I love the big polished frame. 

Legibility is important in a watch, but I’ll say that for the Parking Meter i generally read the right sub-dial only, unless I’m traveling. I also sometimes only set the right sub-dial.
Your comment is appreciated and is the common comment I hear about the Parking Meter. The left sub-dial is not easy to read. Now that I know how to read it, it’s quicker for me, but you do need to be fairly close to see it. The digital dial legibility is still better than some other full face openworked watches.
The varying sizes of the frames is unique, and the polish is a neat detail as well.
Rose-grey is one of my favorite combos for sure. It’s very warm. Not everyone likes rose gold however but I think especially for the parking meter this is one of the prettier configurations. Black label is also nice for the Parking Meter, as is black MOP.
Yes rare, they made only 20 in my configuration. And only about 200 Parking Meters in total. It reminds me of the Patek 5020 “TV” PCC, but hopefully someday tastes will swing back...

I love red too! This strap is special to me as there are lots of details in it that are very personal.

I normally don't like to see parking meters (they get you in trouble and they eat your money), but this one is definitely a nice sight for sore eyes! 

As the left dial resembles a parking meter, but I love it! I wish Journe did more digital dials. Maybe even one where the digital dial is on the right!

It does remind me of a parking meter 😆

Although nowadays it’s rare to even find an actual parking metering the street...I only pay for parking via an app!

I thought the red strap would bring out the red font beautifully. It has a white gator lining on the reverse. Strap is from Alex Crown (@alexcrownlive) and is made by Jean Rousseau.

I see some mention of legibility but I’ve never thought that was an issue when hands on with the watch.  I almost picked up one of these several years ago, in the end went a different direction. Something I regret now as I think it’s a very interesting and obviously unusual Journe.
