The Original Three
I've never put all three together so I figured I should take advantage of the fact that it is very difficult to come across these three in the same room, at the same time.
Much has been said over the significance of the yellow dials for F.P.Journe lovers, and to me, I didn't pick up the appeal except after getting the Tourbillon. Then, it slowly began to trend its way to me and now, finally have the first three models of the brand. The most interesting is that all three dials are first generations of their respective models but all three are VERY different.
End game right there.
For all the fancy dials, MOP, Crystal, Jade etc these ones are by far the most appealing.
I would wonder if a blind test was conducted, ie some people not familiar with the brand, which would they choose in terms of Old versus New, MOP and others versus these gold.
They have a certain charm
And for the new ones, they don quite get it. These dials and movements are poorly done and deliver a certain charm that only an experienced watch enthusiast will appreciate. Just based on my experience since most people don't see the tiny details as charm but more so as "improper finishing"

Am I correct that they are all 38mm being the first generation Journes with brass movements? Simply superb and it is quite a sight to see all three together. I can be indifferent when it comes to FPJ but your trio can wipe out any indifference!

It’s really interesting what you say about the hue/effect being different in the three. I think I made that same observation in Felipe Jordão’s article about his set.
I suppose the dial suppliers where different ones at that stage?

The dial finishes were different as first, the tourbillon dial shown was done by FP himself.
The Resonance dial was also finished by FP but with a lesser shine, which was what he was initially trying to do. He says these were the intended dials at this point.
The Octa wasn't finished by him at this stage but I believe they came from Gerald Genta in this manner. A bit more flat and in my case, brownish tones in the dark.

it certainly adds to the charm
with these minuscle differences. You nver quite know exactly to expect. 'Have any of your dials patinated or tarnished?
I have a rose RdM which has a area in the dial that is a litlle bit differiend when you hold it at a certaill angle. No problem at all, but I doubt it was realeased with it.
Yes, they all have tarnish.
Most of it is seen on the Tourbillon, which is heavily tarnished and even some of the movement parts. The Resonance has a tarnished dial which you can see from the photo. The Octa RDM has the least amount of tarnish on the dial but most of it is evident on the gold rotor.

at first I thought these were the steel pieces which are amazing as well... but these 3 are so great together. Amazing trio! Each bring something else to the table... congrats!
fantastic trio...i love the tourbillon (which is not my normal choice) & the resonance is beyond discussion !

Just curious, economics aside, on a scale of 1-10, how keen would you be to swap out your tourbillon for a souscription tourbillon?
I know in the past you've mentioned that your tourbillon variant is rarer (I believe around 15 pieces) than the 20 piece souscription series, which is why I'm asking.
I'd be keen to hear your thoughts on the 2 pieces without any discussion or consideration of $ 
Someone asked me this in the presence of a Souscription two days ago...
While for him it was a no-brainer, to me it was very hard. I have a very strong sentimental story with regards to this watch's acquisition that makes it priceless to me. I wouldn't care to trade it for anything else and for that purpose, the potential financial gain of a souscription is not appealing to me, which is the only real appeal. Both this and the 20 were made at the same exact time, by the same exact production and the same people. Is the small number on the dial worth the change? Perhaps not.
It's all about the personal journey in acquiring certain pieces
this is why I didn't want to bring economics into this... my query was purely from a collector's point of view, a souscription V a piece in the 21-35 or so case range like yours...
