I would like to report a photo taken from the italian watch magazine Orologi - Le misure del tempo - N.239 - June 2010.

Don't you find that one of these Cartier Miss Pasha has a part of the bracelet slightly badly aligned?
How can the Maison has not noticed this flaw?

Watches photographed for magazine photoshoots are often prototypes or samples so the details are not always perfect. This is not representative of the watch you will find at the store.

If I were the photographer, I would have tried to straighten out those screws!

move constantly, they have no fixed angle/place.
They move/turn with the bracelet, when wearing the watch,
that's the design and that's why it's comfortable to wear.

It's absolutely not a design flaw.

I have a Cartier Pasha in stainless steel with a bracelet. I have taken the bracelet off to clean.
The pyramid shaped caps have a little pin protruding from them. This pin fits into the bracelet link which has a notch made to accept it.
Correctly put together the pyramid cap will always stay aligned with the link.

Interesting.
This Pasha, that I have since 1986, has been served a few times at Cartier
and the screws in the bracelet always moved freely and they still do.
The bracelet has been changed a few times for a leather strap and vice versa.



Same for my Pasha 42 and the one from the 150th anniversary, pictured above.

Here is the look at the bracelet with the cap removed. As you see the tube that goes through to connect the bracelet to the case is notched.
The cap has protruding pins which fit the tube to stay aligned.

For Pasha on strap, the lug screws are free. But for the bracelet model the lug screw should align with the first link of the bracelet. The photo originally posted likely shows a prototype.
