I read that Cartier never bothered to patent the design he called "Vendome Lugs" but Van Cleef & Arpels did. I like how the round watch case is emphasized and the lugs are almost not part of the case design. Even more so on VC&A designs like "Lady Arpels Pont des Amoureux". Its an effect that is amplified even more on a strap rather than the bracelet.
Absolutely. This will be my first independent piece....

And I specifically asked of him (Stepan) to create a pair of orange color Superluminova hands, to really set them off against the charcoal grey meteorite dial π€π.... I will share here obviously when I receive it in a month or two....
I'm looking for a rubber strap with that Clous de Paris texture.

Haven't found one yet...I saw one recently (it might have been Breguet?) but kinda expensive for a "cut & alter" experiment. I'm still on the lookoutππ
I'm mystified why its like the unloved, bastard child of the Cartier family.

I know the Tank is Iconic and the Santos is historic. But the Pasha is saddled with a dubious story about a not-very-nice-guy that wanted to swim...ΒΏπ³? Regardless, I think its a wonderful composition by one of the most famous designers in modern history.
