The yellow dialed version is an early one from July 1969 and the silver dial, made I believe for the Australian market only, is from April 1973.
Thanks, Emmanuel. The reference does have a great deal of history behind it. It's still in question whether Seiko beat the Swiss/Zenith to introduce the first automatic chronograph movement in 1969!
