. . . just unable to wrap one around my slender wrist.

Owned a PADI for a spell but gave it up as it wore a tad too large.  What I'd like to see from Seiko is an SKX013 variant with a Japan movement.

And I find the 7002 to be just at the upper limit for me. Even if it looks a bit big, it’s still great fun to wear.

Just a millimeter wider than a 910 Flightmaster . . .




. . . but even with its additional bulk and volume, a 910 doesn't cross the personal comfort threshold.

Curiously enough, a 911 with the same nominal diameter . . .

. . . is just over the line, which I attribute to its specific physical attributes.




Amazing how minute differences can transform our perceptions of a watch's presence on our wrists.

Most definitely matter. Couldn’t agree more there. Two watches with the same overall thickness, lug to lug distance, diameter, lug width, etc could still wear differently.

Love the side-by-side shot at the end. Great illustrator of the differences.
