Completely forgotten about this... SARD013 Presage Blue Urushi Retrograde
Bought it, put it somewhere, found it, wondered what it is, opened the box and box and box, then.... OMG! I had completely forgotten about this beautiful watch. The date of the warranty card was 9/2015...
Blue Urushi, Retrograde Day/Date.
Dark Navy color, and on that Urushi, Seiko put holes for 6 hands, printed index and such, and many more. Hands are also white. What a find!
Strap is a bit shiny for my taste, but beautiful finish nonetheless....

I was perhaps too busy back then so I put the box somewhere immediately after I received it....
... otherwise, I would never forget about any watch I buy!!!
But I am glad I dug it out from the closet.... Nice one. This one is really nice.... I think I bought it unseen, just by my usual AD's reliable sourcing... Hahaha. It's good to have a reliable AD who tell you interesting new models

... glad I decided to clean up the closet (and I am selling tens of Nikon lenses which I bought but never got around to actually use and more camera stuff....DVDs, Blu-Rays, watch goodys, etc.... I am so glad to even take a look at the dial.

ADs like yours are what makes this hobby great...the brand boutiques in most cases don’t come close to building and maintaining such relationships, nor do they seem to have the interest to do so.

Yeah, having a good AD is the key to continue this hobby with passion....
I am glad to have such an AD - Disclaimer: I have bought, perhaps 4 to 5 not-so-expensive SEIKO/ GS during the past 7 years or so.

That got me laughing out loud!
I have had the inverse happen a couple of times. I decided to sell a watch, take pictures of watch, box and papers, then put the watch box (watch inside) back in the box cupboard and post the advertisement. Usually it doesn't sell, I repost a couple of times, and give up. All completely forgetting that the watch is in the box inside the storage area. Months or years later I find the box, open it and violá, a "new" watch (re) appears in my collection.

I am not really sure... Maybe I was buying too many watches in short period of time..
.. maybe that was Urushi debut time and I got lots of them for myself but mostly for my friends who asked me to get one..... I honestly don't remember...
