Value - bang for the buck, whatever you call it, considering the finish, reliability, durability, and accuracy for a looooong time, SEIKO beats them almost all.

That's the factor that seals my affection for Seiko, Ken - the combination . . .
. . . of objective quality and subjective value, at the lowest cost possible. And GS is truly the connoisseur's manufacturer; peerless at the asking price.
G O hits that same sweet spot, imho, but at a higher cost level. My greatest regret as a collector was the opportunity missed in failing to acquire an 1845 Karree when they were available at reasonable cost.
