The 44GS Re-edition...

It's funny how I didn't appreciate it at first but it grows on me.. And it's such a finely finished watch especially for the price










I really love the funky shaped case, excellent polish on it.

A lot of pleasure for such a simple watch

GSs truly are mesmerizing and as you said, they provide lots of enjoyment in spite of being very 'simple' watches

. . . that I absolutely had to have on first sight, and the SBGW047 . . .

. . . was one of them.  Its acquisition entailed the parting of another treasured part of my collection.  Now, it's a fixture.

Yes!  You have captured some of what are amazing about this watch - the super sharp and well made hand, simple yet elegant dial and extremely well made case after more than 15 times forging, cooling down, heating, repeat...... and polishing by the quite experienced craftsmen.....

On the left is the original 44GS (too bad, the previous owner(s?) have polished the case too much....), which is still as accurate as the modern one.
