I have always hoped to run into someone wearing Urwerk, haven't happened yet.

Congrats on your Marine Master Hi-Beat....

I really like Diving watches as well and when it was announced I was tempted but when I saw the dimensions and the pics I hesitated.

How does it feel on the wrist? Heavy or just right?

Is the case too tall?

Is it comfortable for daily use?

Thanks,

S

Comfort is not a problem

Because it's light, its not steel but ti, so no worries on the weight. The bracelet could be thicker though, for better visual impact, but it is what it is. And I think many will wear it with rubber or nato strap, so probably won't be an issue anyways.

As for the case, it is huge like DSSD, not a elegant watch but a beast of a watch. It has a one piece case, so there's no screw on back, therefore it doesn't need a helium valve.

Appreciate....

the kind feedback, it was a very difficult decision because I already have this one

Titanium Case and the bracelet is one of the most comfortable I have ever owned. Actually I would say its the most comfortable watch I have ever owned, don't worry a thing about it when I wear it and it looks fantastic.

I'm still tempted by your piece but need to try it on but they are so rare. Enjoy it smile

Honestly

I think you should go for it. GS diver is nice but it's spring drive. MM 1000M LE has a GS mechanical hi beat (though not as decorated) movement, I think that's enough to differentiate them.

And in many diving watch collectors circle, the Prospex diving watches are the real Seiko diver watches, but then you have to put up with more bulk, it is not as elegant as the GS diver, that's for sure.

Interesting Points....

Would love to see more pics of your MM 1000m L.E. Just to share with you that the Spring Drive is a fully mechanical movement except for only two tiny parts.

the Three Components of which one is non-mechanical
the Three Components of which two are non-mechanical

If you get the chance try on a SGBA029 in Steel or SBGA031 in Titanium by GS, just to experience the bracelet, a Diving Watch Connoisseur like yourself will really enjoy it.

I have tried the GS diver

They are very nice dive watch indeed. And yes, Spring Drive is practically a mechanical watch, but hi-beat is also unique and worth considering.

I am on a biz trip now and wearing my Apple watch, once I get back home I will take more pictures of the MM for you to see.

I love...

Thank You for taking these, really helps put things in perspective, looks like a very heavy duty piece that can withstand some abuse. What does it remind you of when you see it? For me it definitely has a strong marine connection like the old riveted navy ships.
