Rolex

I have a good friend of mine that has asked me to repair and service his Rolex.  That I can handle and have done so for him.  The problem is the bracelet for it is shot.  My friend as a nervous habit slipped his finger under it and twisted it so much the bracelet is stretched beyond repair.  It is a gold Datejust with the President bracelet.  I do not know the year nor the reference number but I have asked the watchmaker I retained to send me that when he opens the casebook.  The watch is 36mm.

For a gold bracelet president style i can run around 2 k to restore. It will be almost new. A used one can be found but it costs several times a restoration. It takes a while and based on where the owner is you can choose where to send it. He or she can wear it on a nice leather strap while it os being restored.

Best bet is to restore it.

A lot of people dont like restoring bracelets as it seems very costly, but actually the job is extremely hard and time consuming. I have two bracelets that have been restored through Rolex....it took 3 months in fact.....well worth it
