Rolex

Dear Rolex fans,

I ve been collecting watches and I ve been reading every single posts since a few years now, but never took the opportunity to actively contribute to this forum … sorry about it ; Also because of you and my passion for vintage rolex I am about to “hunt for a vintage Daytona”

I do not know which one to choose 6238 white dial or 6263 big red….., I love them both very much

Knowing that it will most probably be my only vintage Daytona and that the budget is about the same, I would like to ask you for advices in terms of choice based on past experiences, tips ……

I personally find 6238 mono color dial i bit cold. I dont think it will be a permanant pcs in my collection.  A 6263 w the screw pusher is to me one of the most balance daytona ever made. I am also still in the hunt for one.  But whichever you choose, as long as you love it. Thats all that matters.

Unfortunately, I'm not one to offer advice on such a specific vintage Rolex question.  Good luck in your search, and here's hoping you'll find a Daytona that stirs your emotions every time its on your wrist.

...the 6238 is more understated and also more rare. Maybe a perfect choisce for a collector who alredy has a 6263 ?

...the 6238 is not a Daytona at all
