Im glad you endorse it nikolas. Means a lot to me. I hope to learn more from you on vintage , As i am a beginner in need of many inputs from experts like you. Thks
I learn and observe from the best here at Purist. I have to thank everyone here for sharing their knowledge and passion. Without everyone here, i would hv learn nothing. And my Taste would be Nothing.
a modern one is very possible...the black and blue is attractive to me for sure. I am also wondering what Rolex will release next year on GMT.... a pepsi possibly? That would also be a very attractive proposal.....
However, Ken's blue insert red hand is one that constantly attracts my attention....that too must be on the menu.
6542? Well, you know why I have not gone down that path before....its because it is a tricky path....a long LONG LONG path. And one that would take a long time to conclude. Now, do i want to take that path? At the moment, the answer is no. Too many other projects and too little time to pursue properly. I would guess that IF it was a project to attack, it would be 2015 or later.
Rolex 6239 and then what? You put it in a fish bowl and...........it multiplies!?? and in different species??!! It must be the effects of the "eau ferrugineuse". I shall try in my pond
This one i took the dial off. Put some liquid on the sub dial, and baked ot in a secret resepi for 4 hours at xxx degree. Hehehehee....... VOILA ......Thats how i got this watch to be what it is .
Yes we had a mini GTG to welcome the 6239. Now my previous Lone vintage 8171 padellone has a younger brother. The rest of the group belongs to friends who share the same passion on vintage Rolex.
